A man believed to be a pilot arrested at Logan Airport dies in the car gara

Officials said that the Jetblue pilot was arrested last month at Logan Airport in Boston, who shot himself at the mbta station at MBTA on Friday morning.

The violent fleeing anxiety department found Massachusetts State Police, to Jeremy Godorf, 33, from Ohio, in his parked car in the garage of the Atar Station in River, according to a spokesman for the state police.

When the soldiers approached him, the state police say that Godorf took out a gun and “suddenly shot himself.”

The soldiers entered a Goodorf car and provided assistance before being transferred to a local hospital, where he announced his death.

The spokesman added: “Waiting for the official recognition of the office of the chief medical examiners, the state police believe that the identity of the individual is Jeremy Godorf.”

The authorities said that Godorf was arrested in the moments of Logan before sitting on a trip to Paris on the evening of February 20. He was subsequently summoned to the East Boston Provincial Court on charges of fugitive for justice.

Kyle Naiman, assistant public prosecutor in the Sofolk region, said on the accusation that Godorf was wanted in Hunterzville, North Carolina, on charges of sexual exploitation of the minor to serve.

The state police said that the American customs and the protection of the border that were aware of the memorandum of arresting Godorf during a record review of the Boston flight to Paris and asked for help from the soldiers allocated to the airport.

“He is a commercial pilot, and it is clear that the matter is outside the state of North Carolina and resides in Ohio. For these reasons, we ask for his detention without a bail and the delivery of his passport.”

In a statement submitted to Boston 25 News after his arrest, a Jetblue spokesman said that Gudor was placed on an “indefinite leave”.

“We are familiar with the arrest of one of our pilots upon reporting at Logan Airport in Boston on Thursday evening because of a prominent matter,” the spokesman said. “The pilot was placed on an unlimited vacation with the continued enforcement of the law with the matter.”

The Huntersville Police Administration said it had launched an investigation into Judorf in October 2024 after receiving information from the National Center for missing children and exploiters.

During the investigation, the police department said that investigators obtained a Google inspection note, which led to the identification of the source of the reported sexual exploitation.

“At that time, the crime was committed, the records indicate that he was residing in Huntersville, North Carolina. However, during the investigation, before identifying it as a suspect, he moved outside the state.”

Godorf, who was allowed to hide his face in the court during his simulation, ordered that he be held on bail of $ 10,000, on the condition of a report immediately to North Carolina within a week of his appearance before the court.

On Friday, the incident is still under investigation.
