Adidas sold Yeezy’s last shoe

Adidas said on Wednesday that she sold the last husband of Yeezys, a famous, profitable and profitable brand that she developed with rapper and designer, as she tried to bypass the nightmare of advertising that followed after comments, anti -Semitic.

The sportswear giant cut ties with Yi, previously known as Kanye West, in 2022 after publishing anti -Semitic notes on social media and made other public offensive comments. Adidas said that ending his cooperation, which lasted for a decade with a decade with the American artist, cost him approximately 250 million euros that year.

The rapper of Jewish community in 2022 apologized only to retreat later his apology in a barrage from social media in February, in which he announced that he was Nazi.

Adidas said on Wednesday in the profit report that the sale of the remaining Yizi inventory in Adidas had achieved about 50 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2024, which increased the company’s total revenues to 5.97 billion euros, an increase of 24 percent over the previous year.

But the sports brand was careful in its outlook, as it reduced the growth expectations for its revenues from 2025 to 10 percent, from 12 percent last year. The company said this is the first time that expectations have not included revenues from the Yeezy line.

The separation was the most difficult in North America, where the clothes were driven by the Grammy award -winning rapper. “Sales in North America have decreased by only 2 percent due to a significant decrease in Yeezy’s sales,” said Adidas, which is based in Herocenerat, Germany.

Bjorn Golden, who became the CEO of 2023, said the company will provide up to 500 jobs at its headquarters to transfer decisions to offices around the world. “We need to reduce the complexity,” he said, adding that it is not logical to Germany employees to decide what is required in the market abroad.

After ending its relationships with Ye, the clothing company struggled with the sales and revelations that the rapper’s misconduct ignored for years. He also left the severed contract with Adidas with mountains of sports shoes and clothes, and possible losses of 1.2 billion euros in sales and about 500 million euros last year.

During the reign of Mr. Golden, Adidas decided in 2023 not to delete the remaining YEYIZY share, but sell it and donate part of the profit to organizations such as the Anti -Defamation Association and the Robert Kraft Foundation to combat anti -Semitism.

On Wednesday, Mr. Golden struck an optimistic tone, indicating the company’s passion for putting the Yeezy scandal behind it with a new celebrity cooperation and focus on other famous sports shoes, such as Samba, the old brand for decades that had a recovery in popularity.

Mr. Golden said: “With all the challenges there, let us not forget that there are many fun things that we look forward to in 2025,” said Mr. Golden.
