“All Hockey Hair Team” is discussed by Minnesota Secondary School

Once the Secondary School Championships concluded in Minnesota on Saturday, John King will fall to the basement in White Bey Lake, Minnesota, so that he can pores through clips from Mullets and MPS bleaching and catarreller mustaches.

The resulting video montage will be released – “All Hockey Hair Team” – on YouTube this weekend, where it gets its annual place as a cultural arrival in the state of Minnesota and outside it. Without a whiff of the paradox, it will be built with “lettuce”, “ramen” and “flow” comprehensive that the players show during their introductions, which helps the tournament to become a phenomenon on social media and outside.

“The Pulltab SPORTS founders, a sports site and his entertainment says he has a” mental state of the bridge. “

“We are trying to take things in the Middle West that are ignored and make it a big problem,” said Mr. King. “Hockey’s hair will be a good example of it.”

His videos, which he collected every year since 2011, have become so popular that she now has a present sponsor-Duke Cannon, a company based in Minnesota that manufactures the products of men. Videos also act as a hendrickson money -raising money tool, which seeks to make hockey more accessible to persons with disabilities.

We signed with Mr. King this week between the championship games at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint -Paul, Minnesota, where he was looking for a possible talent to include it in this year’s video.

This interview has been edited and intensified for clarity.

Do you see any good hair in this year’s championship?

Oh, yes, there is always good hair. It is the year of Bob Dylan and Hippling (a team from Mr. Dylan’s birthplace) in the tournament. These men look like a rock band from the eighties. It is incredible.

How to describe good hockey hair?

It is long. There is enough to go out the back of the helmet. There is likely to be some of them coming out on the side of the helmet. And long enough to have to push it a lot when you throw your helmet. It is a classic look. This is what everyone appeared in the movie “Miracle”.

How did your annual hockey hair montage start?

In 2005, I was a writer on a TV program here in Minnesota called “The show to be called later.” It was in the middle of the night, so you had to be drunk or perhaps not moving to see it. And between the “writer”, I mean, I did not receive anything; I just sent ideas. This idea was put to do the highest 10 poetry. They put it on the TV. No one really saw that. After that, in 2011, I did it again when YouTube was somewhat happening. My children were playing, and I sent the video to two collective texts. The next morning, she had 10,000 views, and she has been rolling since then.

What are your expectations when you posted the first video on YouTube?

I always knew that the building where they played the games carry 18,000 people. So I believed that 100,000 people were interested in the tournament. I sent a group of messages to the shepherds and said: “If this gets 10,000 views, pay me $ 2,500 and I will put your logo in it.” No one wrote me again. At that time, the woman who was still cutting my hair was working in a place called hair. So she put her number there, and got a set of strange phone calls.

Why do you think videos have become common?

Hockey in Minnesota is really different. These children play with their friends from mites to high school. There are 100 hockey cities in Minnesota. So it is not really a video; It highlights something that people really love. It is unique. This is like football in Texas or basketball in Indiana. No one does hockey like Minnesota.

What is your process to evaluate potential members of the team?

I think I am pure. I actually love good hockey hair. There are a lot of really crazy things, and I will put it there. But I am in fact looking for the best hockey hair. Whitening is a direction, and makes it more difficult, because you can not really know who has good hair when it is bleached all and everything appears as it is.

Have you noticed any new trends in this year’s championship?

Well, we had a slap man himself. I haven’t seen that before.

He slapped himself?

He struck himself twice during the player’s introductions.

What trends related to hair?

I got some strange things as men fly their heads and leaving both sides for a long time. But I think this year we return to the authentic hockey hair in the old school.

How to put the video together?

I make it in my vineyard on IMOVIE. I used to wait until the end of the championship to put it together, and I had some beautiful laser nights, but now I am really trying to get rid of it. I cut the things that I might use, and I may have ended about 20 minutes of shots that I try to reduce to seven or eight minutes. Nowadays, with Tiktok, people don’t like watching anything that goes longer in one minute. But I love Longform. I am older, right? I would like to be able to tell a story. I do not take it out until the championship is done because I love to get the context of what actually happened and add a first -sized virgin in the end. It is a time capsule: This is the 2025 high school hockey championship.

Do you feel any feeling of personal responsibility to help maintain hockey hair?

No, not at all. Hockey players will do what hockey players do. They are cowboy. If there is anything, I just want to offer this wonderful championship and raise some money to the Hendrickson Foundation, because hockey players are the stars.

Do you have a hockey hair?

I have good hair, yes. I don’t feel bad, I say that, especially for a 50 -year -old. I am suspended there.
