He said on Tuesday that the Google DeepMind search unit will issue Gemini Robotics, a new branch of the leading artificial intelligence model that aims to develop the most common and interactive robots. Another model, Gemini Robotics-a, specializes in spatial understanding, and will help robot makers build new programs using the gemini thinking capabilities.
Through the Gemini application on robots, Google is close to developing “general robots for general purposes” that can put a variety of tasks, said Deepmind Kanishka Rao at a media conference. “Our world is messy, messy, dynamic, rich, and I think the smart robot is the general purpose that needs to be able to deal with this chaos.”

“The team was very excited when we first saw the robot dunk basketball,” Rao said. “Because the robot has never seen anything related to the basketball. Google has a somewhat torture date in robots. More than a decade ago, the company has acquired at least eight robots to increase the basic Larry Beige and the goal of Sergey Breen, which is to develop robots directed towards the consumer with the help of machine learning. With the passage of years, its efforts gathered in the Google X laboratory, the Alphabet’s Moonshot Laboratory, and in 2021, a unit called Robots everyday, which specialized in robots that have completed daily tasks such as garbage sorting. About two years later, Alphabet announced that it would close the unit as part of the 2023 budget discounts.
