Outside its famous first line – “We do ourselves to live” – ”The White Albuls” is often martyred in the novels of the most famous crime story in the afternoon. The “killing of the five” is alluded upon by Didion in the first paragraph of the article is the horrific killing that shook Hollywood and the world. On August 8, 1969, the group was killed by Manson’s followers, who persuaded them to do this in part by claiming that the white album was the horrific policy message to Manson and its followers. Didion took the details, never mentioned it in the article, and used it for its address.
One of the victims, actress Sharon Tate, was married to Roman Polanski, and at the time of murders, Tate was at her home, located in 10050 Cielo Drive, about seven or eight miles from Didion’s house. Polansky was in London. Tate was eight months pregnant with their child. The horrific details of the killing of murder moved to the legend – stabbing, screaming, there is no interest in the cries of mercy. Didion was later remembered as if it were from the horror movie: “I remember time when we bark dogs every night and the moon was always full.” The next day, the Manson family will kill Lino and Rosemari Labranka, a medium -class couple with grocery stores, two people away from the Sharon Tate world as you can imagine. Nothing logical.
What happened after that was a laboratory study on how to tell ourselves stories to understand madness. According to many of the reputation operations, half of Hollywood claimed that she was actually invited to the Tate-Polanski house on the night of murders, but they chose not to attend, Wow, what is luck for them, if not for the poor Sharon and the rest. Didion later discovers that on the night of shiny murders, Manson and his cholts were driving along Franklin Street, where Didion lived with her family, looking for a place to hit. Really it can be them.
More stories will appear as the Manson family has been brought to trial, and more ways to communicate events together in the text program. Public Prosecutor Vincent Boujliisi, in an attempt to build a pursuit and prosecution case, seized a motive that was obligated to enter the nation. He said Manson was a fan of the Beatles team for life, and also a firm racist believed that the race war is coming. His followers – most of whom were young women who left the use of LSD and other drugs, convinced that they would be very – that they will escape from the next war by moving to the desert and finding “endless hole”, in which they could hide until the war ended. Manson said that the black men would inevitably win this war, because he said they were physically stronger, but then the family will appear and overcome it. It will be called “Helver Skelter”, and Manson told the family that the Beatles was singing around it in the white album, and he was trying to contact him for instructions on how to survive. (Helver Skelter was in fact the name of the ride type that you find at a small entertainment exhibition in England.)
