“I know that President Putin is good,” Macron told reporters at the European Union summit in Brussels.

He said: “He is making a historic mistake: Napoleon launched the conquests.

He also said that Moscow’s reactions on Thursday may have been very noisy because Russia’s intentions to continue the war with Europe in the end, if a hasty peace treaty was signed in Ukraine.

“Maybe it was upset with the fact that we are showing his game,” Macron said.

In response to a question about the comments of US President Donald Trump, who is wondering whether France would come to save the United States if it was attacked, Macron said that France and other European countries joined the American forces in fighting in Afghanistan after September 11.

“Not only the French, but the Europeans were there when we were summoned to Afghanistan. By the way, they were not warned when (the United States left in Afghanistan),” Macron said. “We are loyal and loyal allies.”

Macron also said that other leaders called him throughout the day during the European Union summit in Brussels about his offer to expand the French nuclear deterrence to the rest of Europe and hope to see cooperation at the end of the first half of 2025, after technical talks with other leaders.

He said he called on other European Union leaders to meet with European army leaders in Paris on Tuesday.
