Met Gala 2024: The Garden of Time

As a style coach, I help my client in everything to help organize a wardrobe for another to assemble a special occasion. This year, I was honored by the design of a famous Met Gala in New York City to take advantage of the Fashion Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This was particularly enjoyable since it happened once in life everything about art, fashion and celebrities!

The topic of Met Gala 2024 was “The Garden of Time”, which was inspired by the Ana Wintour Costume center “Sleeping Beauties: Rehawakening Fashion”. Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, Anna Wintour and Zendaya were as participating in the evening.

I wanted to go with my client with the theme of the garden and choose the flower dress decorated with sequins and the silk flower wallet that felt the topic. We kept the rest of the accessories quieter so that she does not compete with her amazing dress! The Vogue Magazine team requested a fee to show all the details of the outfit before the event; Anna Winner and Vogue gave his approval to the appearance of my client!

When helping a customer in a special suitable group, it is important to think about the type of body and frame, so that the garment is a width but it does not wear it. Although Met Gala is definitely an opportunity to be bold, my client is only 5’3 and it is very small so we wanted the garment to be great without overcoming it. The garment is completely decorated in a multicolored sequins for “Wow factor” but the silhouette is very elegant.

After putting the finishing touches on her dress and accessories, she helped her secure the talented poetry and makeup artist in New York City to help us complete the look of Met in full. The recruitment of these experts included that she looked and felt the best of her! It was an amazing and amazing experience to be part of my own client event!
