Anchorage, Alaska (AP) – A volcano near the largest city in Alaska shows new signs of turmoil, where experts say that the possibility of a revolution in Mount Spor in the few weeks or the next few months.
The Alaska Berkano Observatory said on Wednesday that it was measured during recent lighting recently, “highly high volcanic gas emissions”, and said that the signs indicate that the explosion was likely, although it was not sure, in the coming weeks or months.
“We expect to see more increases in seismic activity, gas emissions and surface heating before the explosion, if that happens,” the observatory said in a statement. “Such stronger disorders may provide days of additional warning.”

What is Mount Spur?
It is a volcano with a length of 11,070 feet (3,374 meters), about 80 miles (129 km) northwest of the marina.
Mount Spur is one of 53 volcanoes in Alaska, which has been active in the past 250 years. It has two main ventilation.
When did the mountain of Spur erupt?
The last eruption was known from the top of the summit more than 5,000 years ago. Meanwhile, the peak opening in the hole erupted once in 1953 and three times in 1992, according to the observatory. The opening of the height of the hole is about 2 miles (3 km) south of the summit.
There have been periods of increased earthquake or any other activity since then, including between 2004 and 2006, but there is no other eruption. Last October, the observatory raised its position on alert to a mountain of green from green to yellow when an increase in seismic activity became clear and toured the Earth’s distortion in satellite data.
The observatory said that the most likely result of the current disorders is the eruption or eruption similar to that in 1953 and 1992.
However, “it is also possible to occur any eruption and that the current activity is dies slowly or that a smaller eruption occurs,” John Power, the geophysical scientist with the American geological survey in the observatory, wrote in an email.
What are the effects that can have the eruption?
The explosions lasted during the last century between three and seven hours, as the pillars of ash that rose more than 50,000 feet (15240 meters) produced over the sea level and responded to ash in Alaska societies south of the center, according to the observatory.
In 1992, Ashfall pushed about a quarter of a quarter of an inch in the reside marina to stay at home or wear masks if you go out to avoid breathing ash. The cloud was drifted as much as Greenland.
The volcanic ash is angular and sharp and has been used as an industrial margin. The crushed rock can close a jet engine.
In 1992 revolutions pushed the temporary closure of airports in Marsa and other societies.
The closing airports can be more than just a discomfort in a state where most societies are connected to the main road system in Alaska. The international TEDENS Anchorage International Airport is among the world’s most freight centers.
