American American wildlife service urges to fill their stomachs with gas species that cause ruin in habitats throughout the country.
As part of the National Awareness Week, which ends on Friday, the agency issued a list of five gas creatures that it encourages people to search for them and eat them as a way to protect local species.
“Some of the largest environmental nightmares are creatures that do not belong here,” USFWS wrote in a general consultant released late last week. “The invading species excels on the original wildlife, destroying habitats, and spoiling ecosystems. But instead of just complaining about them, let’s put them on the list.”

At the top of the menu, there is nutria, large water -loving rodents that resemble beaned without a flat brand tail. Nutria is home to South America’s swamps. They were brought to the United States by fur dealers in the 1930s, and many of them were released in the wild after the Nutria Fur market was dried. Since then, Nutria has been a threat to swamps in several regions of the country – especially along the Gulf coast, but also on the Atlantic Coast and in the northwest of the Pacific and parts of California.
Nutria is an ideal example of how to introduce gas species that can get rid of the exact balance that has evolved within weak ecosystems over centuries of development. They are fierce herbal animals that can consume up to a quarter of body weight in one day. They eat a lot so that they can destroy the types of local plants that maintain swamps.

“Chewings and Horization are destroyed without stopping plants that keep the swamps stable, which leads to corrosion and loss of habitats and wet lands that appear to be something from a disaster movie,” wrote USFWS in a Facebook post.
Along with the federal government, at least five states have launched programs to eliminate nutrients over the past 25 years, which have greatly reduced the damage caused by these creatures. In 2000, it was estimated that Nutria destroyed 100,000 acres of wetlands in Louisiana annually, according to the Ministry of Wildlife and Fisheries in the state. Last year, this number decreased to only 5500 acres.
The government’s conservation specialists hope to encourage the delicious meal of local fishermen to help support their anti -run campaign. USFWS describes Nutria meat as lean and moderate, with a flavor similar to “rabbit or even dark meat for Turkey.”
A cook book published in 1963 recounts nearly twenty food recipes, including Nutria and Macaroni-Nutria. Louisiana shared a recipe for Smoked Nutria and Anouille Sausage Gumbo.
The US Department of Agriculture recognizes more than 200 Ghazi species across the country. This list includes wild animals, marine creatures, bugs, plants, and even viruses. Most entries are either unable to implement or are not attractive to eat.
Other edible creatures, or even deliciously delicious, in the USFWS menu are the northern snake’s head, green liganna, and many types of gaseous carp and brutal pigs.
The agency urges any person who is considering starting a type of invasive species to verify the local authorities to ensure that it is legal as they live and care especially when preparing the meat to avoid any risk from a disease that the food transmits at any time dealing with the wild game.
