On most nights, if the moon is clear, then the heavenly body hovers in the sky of the night lights with a bright silver aura.
It can be a scene, especially when the moon is full and not closed with clouds. But this is not similar to that hundreds of millions of Americans will have the opportunity to watch next month during the first total lunar eclipse in nearly three years.
That night, the moon will appear here on the face of the earth to convert a blatant red color when it corresponds to our planet and the sun. When this happens, the moon passes under the Earth in the process of changing the colors that add the name “Blood Moon”.
The total of the next moon, the first since November 2022, will coincide with the full moon for this year, the first and last moon in the winter.
Here is what to know about the overall eclipse of the moon, including when and how to see the next device.
How is the overall lunar eclipse and how do it look?
The Pull Moon is completely located in the shadow of the Earth and glows in a faint orange color during the overall lunar eclipse early on the morning of January 21, 2019.
The lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes in the shade of the Earth while it is compatible with our planet and the sun.
When the moon is completely covered with Earth’s shadows where our planet passes between the natural satellite and the sun, it produces a partial eclipse of the moon – like the writer that occurred in September. In the total lunar eclipse, the entire moon moves to the darkest part of the earth’s shadow, which is called Obra, which completely prevents it from the sun, according to NASA.
Although the moon will be more dim than usual, it seems that its surface also contains a reddish color orange for a few hours, creating a breathtaking scene in the night sky while moving across Liu and the bride.
What is the blood moon?
Because of the changing phenomenon of colors, the lunar eclipse is often called “blood moons”.
The process that produces red or orange glow is the same that makes our blue sky and our red sunset, according to NASA.
As light reaches the Earth’s atmosphere, it is spread in all directions by gases and molecules in the air.
Because blue light is relatively easily, and for this reason our sky appears in this color most of the time. The reddish light, which travels directly in the air, manifests itself to the Earth’s observers during sunrise and sunset when the sun is near the horizon and the light coming travels on a path longer than the low corner across the atmosphere of the Earth.
This is similar to what happens during the total lunar eclipse, when any sunlight that was not banned by our planet is filtered through a thick slice of the Earth’s atmosphere on its way to the moon’s surface.
“It looks like all sunrise and sunset in the world are displayed on the moon,” NASA explains.
When is the total eclipse of the moon?
The total lunar eclipse will be visible throughout the United States on the night of 13-14 March.
The time and date of the site predict that the moon will complete all stages of Eclipse in 6 hours, 3 minutes.
If you live in the United States, you can see the eclipse starts at approximately 11:57 pm EST when the Penumbral stage begins when the moon enters the outer part of the shade and begins in a skill dim, according to NASA.
At 1:09 am, the partial eclipse begins when the moon enters the Earth’s Earth and begins to darken. For the naked eye, the moon should look like the sting is removed from the lunar disk.
The total occurs at 2:26 am when the entire moon is under Umbra. This is when the red shapes of “Blood Moon” are displayed.
When the moon comes out of Umbra by 3:31 am, the red color will fade and another bite -like width will appear, this time on the other side of the moon. NASA explains that the entire eclipse process is expected to end by 6 am as the moon slowly comes out of the Earth Penumbra to the Earth.
Where and how do you see the total eclipse of the moon in March
The spectators look at the total moon in 2022 in Eugene, Oregon. The lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, the earth and the moon correspond to the moon in the shadow of the Earth. In the total lunar eclipse, the entire moon is located in the darkest part of the earth’s shadow, called Umbra.
While the lunar eclipse is relatively rare, when it happens, it is visible to the entire earth.
For this eclipse, the Western hemisphere will be dealt with from a point of view, including all North America. For those in the United States, this means that all 48 low states must have a view. The total lunar eclipse will also be visible on South America and the western parts of Europe and Africa.
Although you do not need any special equipment to monitor this phenomenon, astronomers insist that the view will be better with telescopes and endoscope. Regardless, the dark environment away from the bright city lights makes the best.
Time and history provides more detailed information about a place and when they see the eclipse.
When is the next lunar eclipse?
According to NASA, the overall lunar eclipse will not be visible in the United States until March 2026.
