Houston (AP)-Drake reached a settlement with the Texas-based iHeattmedia for his constant legal displacement on the Diss Kendrick Lamar path “not like us,” according to court records.
In November, Drake provided a legal petition in the Bixar Province, Texas, where San Antonio, claiming that iheartmedia had received illegal payments from the Global Music Group to increase the radio broadcast of “not like us”. UMG is the original record sign of both Drake and Lamar.
Requesting the petition, which is a submission to a possible lawsuit, deposits from the representatives of companies in both companies.

In the court document that was submitted on Thursday, Drake’s lawyers said that rapper and iheartmedia “reached a friendly solution to the conflict” but they did not provide any other information.
“We are pleased that the parties managed to reach a satisfactory settlement for both sides, and they have no additional comment on this,” the Drake Legal Team said in a statement.
In an email on Friday, iheartmedia refused to comment on the settlement.
The claims against UMG remain active, and a listening session was scheduled by UMG lawyers to refuse to seek on Wednesday in the courtroom in San Antonio.
Drake claimed that UMG participated in “irregular and inappropriate” commercial practices “to obtain the radio broadcast of” not like us “. The petition also claims that UMG knew “the song itself, as well as its album accompanying the arts and video, attacked another one from the most prominent UMG artists, Drake, by f also a false accusation that he is a sexual perpetrator, participating in sexual acts, accommodating the perpetrators of sexual crimes, and reliefing to other sexual acts.”
An email to the UMG representative is not answered immediately.
In January, Drake filed a defamation in the New York City Court against UMG for what he claims to be false allegations of assaulting children in “not like us”. Lamar was not named in the lawsuit.
The dispute between Drake, a 38 -year -old Canadian rapper, a five -time singer, and a 37 -year -old Politzer winner who was leading the Super Bowl exhibition on February 9, is among the largest in hip -hop in recent years.
The Federal Communications Committee sent a message on Monday to the CEO of Iheartmedia Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Robert Betman, saying that the committee is looking into whether the sound company is forcing musicians to perform at the Rural Music Festival in May in Austin due to a decrease in wages in exchange for a favorable flight to their songs at iHEART radio stations.
“We look forward to clarifying the committee how to perform at the iheartCountry Festival – or refused to do so – is not hoped to broadcast our stations,” iHERT Media said in a statement.
