A tragic loss for the American Professional League tournament … previous place Oliver Miller Known as “The Big O”- he died at the age of 54.
The former American Professional League player Eddie Johnson Breaking the news on Wednesday … expressing his grief announcing Miller’s death.
“We have lost another member of NBA brothers!” Johnson said. “I will miss you Big O. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. Rip.”
Miller was a prominent athlete at the Southwest Secondary School in Fort Worth, Texas before adhering to the University of Arkansas to play in Razorbacks. The SWC player was this year and got the first SWC team in 1991.
Phoenix Suns chose the center by choosing 22 total in the US Professional League draft in 1992 … and played there for two seasons.
He also had short periods with Detroit Bestones, Toronto Raptors, Dallas Marax, Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timberolves at his career in the American Professional League for nine years.
The average Miller – which has become the heaviest player in the history of the league – has reached 7.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.
Miller then took his talents to the continental basketball Association, where he received honors from all the stars and was named in the second team.
The last time played in 2010 with the Knights Laton Fort Fort in the basketball league.
