Another destroyed setback for Woods tiger … the golf legend just announced that it had tore his Achilles.
The 49 -year -old said in a statement on Tuesday afternoon that he suffered from his illness while training for the next PGA season in his home in Florida. He stated that it was the left leg that gave him – not the correct leg that was almost amputated after a famed round car accident 2021.
Woods added that he underwent a “minimal gas” surgery to fix this problem on Tuesday morning … which doctors considered success.
“The surgery has gone smoothly, and we expect complete recovery,” his document said in the statement.
Woods said he is now recovering.
“Thank you for all support,” he said.
Woods now needed surgery almost every year since the 21st accident … including in 2024, when he was working on his back.
Despite all the issues, he was trying to return … although one had to wonder if we would see him near the top top of the leaders after the latest procedure.
