Atlantic City International Airport was evacuated early on Thursday morning after the fire alarm prompted emergency response teams to purify the station, according to the published reports.
The alarm appeared at about 5:30 am, which led to a complete evacuation while investigating the police crews and firefights. According to the National World, the Ministry of Airport Fire Department gave all-colorar, and travelers were allowed to return to the station as soon as there is no fire or active threat.
WPG Talk Radio was the first to report the evacuation, including direct updates of the thirsty passengers.
No injuries were reported, and the airport resumed regular operations shortly after.
Atlantic City International Airport for Passengers is served throughout southern Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia. It is known for its comfortable standing, shorten lines and access to the main highways.
Spirit Airlines is the only commercial carrier at the airport and provides daily trips without stopping to the main airports in Florida such as Orlando, Fort Luddriel, Tamba and Myrtle Beach.
The airport is also a common facility for use with the Wing of National Fighters in New Jersey, which runs F-16 fighter planes from the base.
As of Thursday evening, the airport delay was not reported.
