VOPAK to expand the Thailand station for us, from 2029.

SENGapore (Reuters) – The Independent VOPAK global company at Singapore (Reuters) – It will expand the joint project station in Thailand to deal with US Energy Outrings of PTT Global Chemical since 2029.

Petrochemical companies throughout Asia, led by China, are planning to increase the cheapest ethane imports that flow from the American rock gas mutation to diversify the supply of raw materials and reduce costs.

The Thai tank station – a joint venture between PTTGC, the development of Gulf energy and VOPAK – will be established 160,000 cubic meters of storing tanks in MAP TA Phut, Rayong, according to VOPAK.

JV, which provides storage infrastructure and logistics for chemicals and liquid gases, has signed a 15 -year contract with PTTGC to store and process ethane in Thailand.

The project is part of the country’s VOPAK investment strategy to allocate 130 million euros ($ 120.4 million) over the next four years related to storage and other infrastructure in the MAP TAPUT area.

Separately, PTT fell in long -term charters on Wednesday for Ethan very large (VLEC) with Malaysian shipping company MISC.

Disagmat said in a statement that ships will be built by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and is scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2028.
